Our Philosophy

We believe in a skill based developmental program that prioritizes focus on fundamentals and uses games as a test to evaluate progress. We fully realize that the existing paradigm for baseball development in the U.S. focuses on a high volume of games relative to practice.  We believe this undermines the principles of motor development which requires high quality repetitions over time delivered via practice volume.  We will play games, which can include inner-squad and local team scrimmages as well as tournaments but it will be at the coaches discretion as to the volume and timing.  We are developing a team of boys that we hope will be playing together at a high level all the way through high school and beyond.  To do that we have to build the foundation.
